Our Mission:
The creativity and human potential of the dyslexic individual
is often lost due to frustration, lack of information, and insufficient
resources. It is the mission of the Los Angeles County Branch of the International
Dyslexia Association to provide solutions, opportunities and information
in order to enable individuals with dyslexia to reach their potential
as creative and contributing members of the community.
The Los Angeles County Branch of the International Dyslexia Association
is a non-profit organization dedicated to stimulate awareness and
understanding of dyslexia in Southern California, to establish
and promote the treatment of dyslexia and to give support to dyslexics
and their families. Our purpose is accomplished through many free or
low cost community programs by a group of hardworking
volunteers.
